Shadow Art
A little self-exploring art project about noise pollution.

The work uses light, shadows, and ultralight clays.

I used ultra light clay to shape many of the noise-making devices that
we use in our daily lives, including phones, laptops, horns, and hair dryers.

The shadow of the human face symbolizes “us,”
shaped by all the noise and distractions around us.

This stop-motion film (left) simulates the moment the phone rings.

Noise pollution can seriously affect both human health and the environment,
yet its impact is often overlooked

This stop-motion film (right) explores what might happen to "us"
if one of "our" phones were taken away.
